Educator Initiative Grants

How can a $1,200 grant power success for students?
Educator Initiative Grants have been supporting Cherry Creek Schools educators since 1993! These grants have fueled innovation and inspired learning in classrooms and schools across our district. During the 2025-26 school year, Cherry Creek Schools Foundation awarded $200,232 to 198 Cherry Creek Schools educators at 56 schools and programs around the district.

Applying for an Educator Initiative Grant
The application window for these grants opens in the fall for approximately two months. Cherry Creek Schools Foundation offers free, virtual grantwriting workshops to support interested applicants.

The deadline for the 2025-26 Educator Initiative Grants was Sunday, September 14, 2025 at 11:59 pm and recipients were announced on November 20, 2025. Check out our recipients here.
